Once you’ve decided you need to take action, we can get to work. While every client's situation is different, engagements with Viewpoint CFO typically follow a common arc:

  1. Discovery Meeting. The first step in a potential engagement is an introductory meeting. This discussion generally takes 30-60 minutes and can be done via video conference. In advance of the meeting, we will send you a short profile document to guide the discussion. During the discovery process, we want to hear about the company and about you - not just about your reason for meeting with us. We are not interested in wasting your time, so if we feel that our approach and skillset does not align with your needs, we will let you know quickly. If we mutually agree that Viewpoint can add value to your organization, we will move to the next step.

  2. Recommendation/Proposal. After the Discovery Meeting and any necessary follow-up, we will develop a proposal based upon our time together. The proposal will take into consideration the realities of your company's leadership and operational capacity/availability, as well as your time horizon and budget.

  3. Kickoff. Once we have agreed on the scope of work to be done and terms of an engagement, we will hold a formal kickoff and begin work. Engagements are designed to be primarily remote, but on-site as needed.

  4. Evaluate/Revise/Refine. Priorities can change rapidly in growing companies. Engagements are structured to allow clients maximum flexibility to change course if needed.

Whether you are just beginning to explore the possibilities, or you've already made a determination and want to discuss how to define a scope of work, contact Viewpoint today to start a conversation.  Together, we can determine if our approach is right for your company and if our skillset matches the needs of your organization.  If nothing else, we can provide you with a new viewpoint on your situation.
